Nyon is the home of the absolutely awesome Paleo festival and where I went to high school (subsequently spending my summers at the aforementioned Paleo festival before it became so big it’s difficult to get tickets).
As I flew back from Switzerland on Monday we flew over the town. Camera in hand I shot – of course.
Here is what it looks like from Google Earth (402 metres is not the altitude of the plane above the grounds, it’s the altitude of the town above sea level, although given the scales I could probably work out the altitude of the aircraft at the time I took the picture….)
